This is an oversized lock which will fit the late model trucks with the wider two and a half inch hitch receivers. It fits the 2007-2010 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra's that have the heavy duty tow package.Now this lock is a little too short for the 2011 and newer GMC factory two and a half inch hitches. This is a patented stainless steel swivel head, which will rotate 360 degrees for easy access. At first, we're going to go down our test course without the Softride Anti-Rattle Hitch Pin installed. First, we're going to come to some bumps. As we go over the bumps, you can see what it's like driving on rough terrain, hitting potholes, pulling in and out of driveways. You'll notice how much the cargo carrier is moving up and down causing rattling and banging noises. As we go further down our test course, as we do some invasive maneuvers, you can see how much the cargo carrier is moving side to side, and tilting, causing swaying. The swaying also creates noise and makes for an unstable condition for our cargo in the cargo carrier. more

Today we'll be taking a look at the Andersen trailer hitch lock and adjustment pin lock set, part number AM3493. The Andersen lock set is two keyed-alike anti-theft locks that are going to secure your ball mount to your vehicle. The longer of our two locks will secure our ball mount to our hitch, and the shorter of our two locks will secure the balls to our shank. The deadbolt hitch lock will keep your accessories secure inside your hitch, such as your ball mounts, your bike racks, or your cargo carriers. It has a first lock design and a pick-proof screw lock assembly. It has all-weather grips on this side here, so you can use this with ease in most weather conditions. This does comes with two keys to use, and also has this weather-resistant cap on the lock end to prevent road dirt and grime from getting in your lock, but also to prevent rust and corrosion of your lock. It's comprised of a stainless construction, which resists rust and corrosion. These locks are available key to like with other locks, if you wanted, but these cannot be used with some factory two-inch hitches with an outside wider than 2-5/8 of an inch. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Pro-Tech Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 1-1/4" trailer hitches, part number 7680. The Pro-Tech 1-1/4" Receiver Lock is great for keeping a wide variety of accessories secure inside your hitch, such as bike racks, cargo carriers, hitch covers, and ball mounts. One of the nicest things about this new design is it's going to keep your lock corrosion-free with this cover on the end. Another nice feature about this is it is a key-free install, meaning when you push the base to the one side all you have to do is twist it, and it'll lock into place and then it will not be able to unlock. Just a few more things to do over. It is double-chrome plated to resist rust and corrosion, and while this does fit 1-1/4" hitches, it does work with both Class I and Class II. The pin diameter is going to be 1/2" and the overall dimension is going to be 5-1/2" with the inside dimension being 1-5/8". Today we're going to be taking a look at the Master Lock Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock with integrated 8' cable, part number 1470DAT. This Master Lock Trailer Hitch Lock and Cable combo prevents theft for your 2" and 1-1/4" hitch accessories, such as your bike racks, cargo carriers, as well as ball mounts. The cable stretches 8' long and is enough to wrap around at least two to four bikes, depending on the style of your bike rack. It does have reinforced ends on both sides that wrap around the hitch lock itself, and the actual cable is braided steel, which makes it very tough and durable. Roadmaster Trailer Hitch Locks Review- Video

Today we're gonna be taking a look at the RoadMaster Trailer Hitch Lock that are keyed alike, part number RM-316. Now, what's great about our locks here is they do come in a two-pack. So if you're using a hi-low adapter or if you have a double hitch or anything like that, you're gonna have both pins to keep everything secure and connected to your vehicle. Now, they are designed to use for two-inch hitches, because they are five inch-size pins and they come with four keys, and they're both keyed alike. Also, the dust cover is a nice feature, because we don't have to worry about dirt, water, or any debris getting in to our lock core. Now that we've gone over some of the features of our locks, show you how easy they are to use. Here we are at the back of an RV. As you can see, we have an adapter in here to actually drop our hitch down so we can hook our tow bar up. Now, our locks, it is a two-pack, so we're gonna be able to lock our adapter in to our receiver. Then we take our locks and, since they are spring-loaded, we're just gonna push it on. It's nice and secure. Put our dust cover over our lock core, keeping out the debris. Then we come down to where our tow bar is, our hi-low adapter. more

Roadmaster Hitch Locks - Standard Pin Lock - RM-316 Review- Video

Today we're going to take a look at the Roadmaster 2-pack receiver hitch locks that are keyed alike. Now these locks are designed to be used with 2 inch by 2 inch trailer hitches. They are keyed alike locks to secure any two components in your towing set up like when you're using a dual hitch adapter where you might have a trailer on the bottom hitch and a bike rack on the top. These are a five eighths inch pin diameter. This kit, again, comes with the two locks, two keys per lock, and both locks are keyed alike. Does have these nice rubber covers you can see attached to the lock. This will help keep any dirt or grime from getting into the locks and all you have to do is insert your key, turn it a quarter of a turn, you can see the lock comes right off the pin. Then to install it, you don't need to have the key in there. more
